Following a weekend of consultation, refinement and website development we are delighted by the latest news from the Open Data Challenge. After a successful pitch by Steve, Skills Route was chosen as one of the three finalists and move forward through the incubation phase with project support from a host of subject matter experts.
The whole weekend proved to be really exciting and we particularly enjoyed watching everyone’s ideas come together in the final pitches. It was incredibly useful meeting with the parents from Haringey who generously gave up their time to provide direct project feedback. They were all really positive about Skills Route and the potential impact it could have. Further highlights for us included meeting with the PricewaterhouseCoopers advisors to hear their expert opinions and attending the uscreates specialist sessions, learning some more about user focused design.
We couldn’t be happier with the outcome of the weekend. We would like to thank everyone at Nesta for making the whole event a resounding success and we move on now to the next stage of development… watch this space
