Transparency International: Anti-Corruption Benchmarking
What Transparency International needed
Each year, Transparency International deliver their Anti-Corruption benchmark. This is an industry leading self-assessment tool which measures and compares the performance of anti-corruption programmes across companies worldwide.
The survey to gather data for the benchmark has a unique and complex structure, requiring a bespoke approach to analysis and visualisation. We were commissioned by Transparency International to provide a robust approach for processing, interrogating and visualising their benchmark evaluation data.
How we helped
We began the process by working with Transparency International to understand their key requirements for both analysis and visualisations. We then established processes to clean and structure participant data to allow for complex scoring and benchmarking against other companies. This data then feeds into our bespoke and visually engaging dashboards, allowing companies to see their results and understand areas of strength and opportunities for improvement.
We built a new analysis to compare results year on year, linking to a new dashboard showing time series analysis. This helps companies evidence the impact of self-evaluation and where they are able to make improvements.
The impact of our work
We have worked with Transparency International since 2018, each year delivering improvements to the data processing and dashboards to ensure companies have engaging insights into their anti-corruption activities and how this compares to similar companies. Through clear presentation of the data, we are supporting companies to continually improve their anti-corruption activities.
