A New Chapter, a New Desk (and a New Look)!
We’ve done it again! The boxes have been (mostly) unpacked, the kettle is plugged in, and we’re officially settling into our new home.
Saying goodbye to The Print Rooms was bittersweet; it’s been a lovely spot for us, just a stone’s throw from the Tate Modern, and home to countless meetings (and a lot of coffee). But as Mime continues to grow, and our team expands, it was time for an exciting new chapter. Our recent rebrand reflects how much we’ve grown, so moving to a fresh new physical space felt like the perfect way to complete the picture.
We loved our home so much that we’ve only moved just around the corner, but to a much larger space in Metal Box Factory. While the location is familiar (just an 11 minute walk from London Bridge) the office itself is a huge upgrade. We now have a beautifully furnished workspace that gives us plenty of room to spread out, collaborate, and grow the team. Check out some pictures below
The whole building is fantastic, too. We’re now enjoying a much more social communal space, complete with a bright, airy atrium, a handy mezzanine for quick chats, and, perhaps most importantly, a gorgeous cafe downstairs!
To ensure the move was a smooth one, we did what Mime does best, and ran some analysis on all of the local lunch spots, coffee stops and after-work drinks locations. We’ve even put together a quick visualisation of the data so you can see exactly which places get the Mime seal of approval!
